Will Kimbrough lives in Nashville, but his roots are in Alabama and you can hear that in in music Will is equal parts songwriter, storyteller and musician. He's a Grammy nominated producer as well as an Americana Music Association "Instrumentalist of the Year". He's got gold records and cuts on big albums from luminaries like Jimmy Buffett, Little Feet, Todd Snider and Radney Foster. He's one of outlaw country's go to sidemen, and is right now out touring with EmmyLou Harris. He is "that" guy. One of the heroes of Americana that are not always household names. But for those who know him, Will is the real deal, the kind of performer you can't forget, and want to tell your friends about And he's a guy who gives back, working regularly with combat veterans and first responders as part of the Songwriting with Soldiers team

NPR said: "As a hired-gun guitar-slinger for the likes of Rodney Crowell, Todd Snider, Josh Rouse and others, Will Kimbrough has earned a reputation as an "alien" — a little joke among the alt-country cognoscenti that it's the only way to explain Kimbrough's otherworldly prowess. Fortunately for Kimbrough, who aspires to a solo career, his songwriting chops are solid, too"

AllMusic said: "Kimbrough's ease is that of a veteran musician, one who knows enough not to hurry or hit his points too hard. This light touch results in an alluring slow-burner of an album built upon a clutch of songs that slowly creep into the subconscious."

Will’s latest album is 2020’s Spring Break, an all acoustic collection that tips the hat to the classic folk and blues recordings of Vanguard and Folkways. He is putting the finishing touches on a new record, When This is All Over, for release in 2023.
